BATTLE CREEK MICHIGAN FOBS AND BUTTON FROM EARLY 1900s.

All > Geographic Areas, Landmarks, Structures > STATES

First two luggage tag fobs on leather strap. General wear on both from use but no serious damage. First is brass with the serial "638" and text "Post Tavern/Battle Creek/Mich." Second is aluminum with serial "253" and text "B.C. Sanitarium." Third is 1.25" celluloid pin back button. No maker or back paper. Apparently issued to promote local newspaper with text "Daily Moon/It Shines For All/Boom Battle Creek." Age dots by reverse collet but front is clean and displays Mint. Last is silver brass watch fob. Front scene of Indians by a large tree all aiming their bows and arrows at other Indians at distant right. Reverse has lost silver flashing but metal is clean and reads "1833/1913/Battle Creek/Home Coming/Celebration/August 19-25." Lot of four scarce items.
