3.5” button reading "Where's Igor?" lab assistant character to Roland who wore long black undertaker’s coat and was portrayed by John Zacherle on WCAU-TV Channel 10 as host of “Shock Theater” from Oct. 7, 1957 to Sep. 13, 1958. Dick Clark supposedly gave Zacherle the nickname “The Cool Ghoul.” In 1958, Zacherle cut “Dinner With Drac” for Cameo Records and moved to NYC television where his shows included the 1960s Chiller Theater in New York on WPIX. This button has numerous but light all over surface scratches but noticeable just in reflected light. No stain and full gloss. Scarce local issue.
