"LIMETTA" SUPERB COLOR CLASSIC BUTTON.
This product was a non-alcoholic -"High Ball." Marvelous 1.25" depicts young girl holding product bottle riding a large dog past a tree with posted sign "Notice / Try Limetta High Ball Take No Substitutes." Additional slogan on bottom edge "The Drink Of Drinks." Beautiful high glossy appearance w/perfect centering and rich color. Perfect registration unlike most of these we've seen; however, American Art Works went heavy on the black ink so the young girl's face has noticeably dark black eyebrows, eyes, nostrils, and lips. She appears to be a fat, mustached man with golden flowing hair and a flowery pink dress. On top of that, a dealer inked his personal inventory number on the back paper. Finally, there is an 1/8" tan spot on extreme rim edge at 2 o'clock. In so many other ways, it is in fact a great, graphic, intensely colored button. And scarce. Full gloss. Perfect registration, just a bit heavy on the black. Still great!
