AUTHENTICITY

TedHake.com sells only authentic collectibles of all time periods. None of the items we offer are reproductions that are a copy of a previously existing item.  Neither do we offer "fantasy" collectibles, a term I coined back in the 1970s to designate items appearing to be of a certain earlier age but in fact never in existence during that earlier age. As a collector/dealer in the collectibles' marketplace since 1960, I have seen how the rise in the value of vintage collectibles over the decades has attracted a small number of people for whom money from selling bogus items  trumps authentic, historical artifacts. I've studied the material I sell for over half a century and guarantee that fakes, forgeries and fantasy items are not offered on this website devoted to authentic, vintage collectibles.
